Ahead of Talk Money Week, new research shows that 57% of people have not seen a financial adviser in at least five years. The research, carried out by AKG earlier this year and co-sponsored by insurer Canada Life, also found that financial planning is not the taboo subject it perhaps once was. The research found that 40% of survey respondents said they talked about financial planning issues around the dinner table, with family or friends, in the past year.
